Magnificent product. In this cold weather, it's a scandal not to have it at home for the cat or dog. I keep it plugged in all the time and the cat comes to it when it needs it. It doesn't get too hot. Just enough to keep my little cat comfortable. I should have bought it earlier. It's an inner cloth with a thermal cable and it can be removed to wash or put another cover on as you like. Don't hesitate.
